blower motor question

blower motor question i have a 96 trans am and when i turn the right switch on the climate control it is supose to switch front vent to floor to defrost and etc. but when i turn mine it turns on but doesnt switch over at all just on , it doesnt switch from vent or floor or defrost. what could be the problem?
