Default Magnamouth or Borlamouth?

Trying to quiet down my LM system with a mysterious 15" glasspack installed. Which would be the quietest bullet to go with?

Looking for the one that will quiet it down, and not spending $300 on the power-flo conversion.

what about putting a couple dynomax or magnaflow bullets before the tips like the power-flow. It would cost around as much as a borla xr1 and would for sure quieten it down quite a bit without the loss of ground clearance from the 5" borla.

Without cats on a hybrid LM its going to be LOUD. If your looking to do it on the cheap why not just add a cat at the end of y pipe. Cheap and more effective way to quiet down your system.

powerflo is the best option but isnt cheap , 2nd would be magnamouth, that exhaust is setup to be somewhat loud, magnamouth sounds pretty good though, honest i started with a lm1, i got a magnaflow catback before i went duals and i loved the maganflow catback, if your looking to drop the db like i said magnaflow catback gets my vote,i think they sound great

LE2 heads, 222/230 112 LSA cam, LT's, catted y-pipe, and the LM1 with a Dynamax 18" bullet. The LT's are what makes it loud. When I had just the Dynamouth on stock manifolds, it was surprisingly quiet down low. It's definitely quieter than the LM1.

My brother has Magnamouth on his LS1, and it's much louder than mine. No cats on his though.

My new set up is the Powerstick with 2 cherry bombs before the tip. I will get a new thread up when everything is installed, just waiting for the UPS guy now.

I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago, but then I ended up ordering a thunderbolt metallic core cat for about 60 bucks. Sounds awesome now and only spent $60. However, my setup is a TSP rumbler and a cut out. Either way, it ended up sounding so much better and is still loud when the cutout is open.
