Default datamaster with vista?

Im trying to use the free trial of datamaster with my new laptop and it keeps telling me no sync with PCM and cycles over and over again. I tried to download the driver but its not working. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Never had any issue with my xp computer before it crashed.

Make sure that nothing else is using that comm port as well, my old laptop was a vista box and I had to resynk the cable after selecting the comm and installing the drivers.

OK I just found my emails from them You have to run it as administrator for it to work

Message body Aaah. I assume you're running Windows Vista?

You need to right-click the Datamaster icon, and select "Run As..." and then select "Administrator". Then it will allow you to view the Authorization Code box.

After that, when you go to type in the Registration Number, you'll need to Run As... Administrator... when you go to enter the number.

i was gonna say the same as above, as well as possibly needing to run it in compatability mode (not sure if thats for DM or TunerCat)

Ok I got datamaster to work on Com4. Now my issue is when I download WinFlash there is no icon to click on but there is a file saved. When you clean click on file nothing. I see it says to run as administrator but still no luck with it at all.
