Default Bypass question

On my starter the little wire does not have power when the car is in crank and I know the car has a theft relay my question is if I jump the two wires to bypass the relay should I get the 12 colts at the purple little wire?

The purple wire on the starter is the trigger, it should have +12V while cranking. Have you tried to see if the theft deterrent relay is getting power? If so you probably have a bad relay, if not it could be a bad ignition switch, cylinder, etc. Do you have a manual to see the wiring diagram of the starting system? The body control module provides a ground for the TDR via the small yellow/black wire coming out of the TDR. If your BCM has issues it can keep the car from starting by not providing the ground to the TDR. If you cut and ground the small yellow/black wire this will bypass the BCM. Just bypassing the relay like you mentioned could cause you clutch/neutral safety switch to no longer work.
