Default New car for me!!!!

I just got done test driving a 1995 Camaro z28. Has 110,000 thousand on it in really good condition! Only spot is a dent in the quarter panel. It has manual windows, hardtop, AC, cd player ect. He's asking $4200 It has really tight steering and runs strong and is pretty quick! (havent driven a stock one for a long time). This one is going to be my daily driver and plan to put my drivetrain from my current one in my sig into this one, and do a lsx swap into the one in my sig. Tell me what you think. Thanks Jim

pics? and does it have the intake leak?

sounds like a nice car, low options... may be a better suit for a swap/racecar.

Thats what I was thinking, unless your dead set on it you could find one in equal condition for less.

4,200 sounds looney tunes to me for a 95 with 110,000. I'd say there is better deals out there to be had..

Automatic. It seems like a good price for around me as I look on all the sale sites.

too expensive. Ive seen lt1s go for under 3k with under 1ook miles, m6, and t-tops.

If you can't find a better deal then I'd go for it. Doesn't sound like there's much available in your area. However, that does seem a bit pricey for an A4 with that many miles.

That car isn't worth more than 3 grand, I wouldn't pay more than 2600 if it were me. But I guess availability and all that comes into play. I just know there are guys who sell built F bodies or full bolt on cars for that price.

Why do two swaps? If you want a LT1 body to stick a LS1 into, why not find a V6 or a roller for almost nothing that has a good title? Or if you really want the LS1 drivetrain in the current car, the same thought process still applies, if you are going to remove the current powertrain from whatever you buy, it doesn't make sense to me.
Also agree on overpriced. In 2003 I paid $4.5k for my hard top, low options 94 Z28. T56 car, one owner, under 100k miles.

I got him down to $3800. I wouldn't be doing the swap for a year or so. I don't want to drive a v6 for my daily driver so that is why I'm looking at z28 camaros

It all depends on location and availability. Everything is pricier if you live near a large scale urban area. A4 Z28s around here with that many miles would sell for $4k and the V6 trims at $3k.

Yea I live 40 min from downtown Chicago. He won't go any lower on price, he did a $1800 tuneup on it a year ago. Also he is the second owner he got it with 40,000 miles on it and never drove in the winter and garage kept!

For a clean car 3500-4000 is about normal around here. I paid 3700 for my car with 112000 miles and a bad window motor and temperature sensor. I sold my old auto with 130000 miles for 3600.
