Default Missing seal at Ram Airbox WS6

There is no appreciable reduction in performance.

You can buy foam/rubber adhesive-backed weatherstripping anywhere if it bothers you that badly. Personally I wouldn't bother with it.

The Firehawk air boxes never had it, I had to take it off since the Ram Air box I have now wouldn't close with the Firehawk hood.

Firehawks did have one... It was actually installed on the under side of the hood instead

Correct, that is how mine came from SLP when GM ordered it from them when the car was wrecked.

My car is not a true WS6 so the dealership body shop would not get a direct "Pontiac Ram Air" replacement, but my box is from SLP and is an exact match.

I bought a used OEM hood with a suncoast creations ram air box. Previous owner installed rubber isolators to the underside of the hood to seal it.
