Default Can I use a 140 psi fuel pump on a 93 z28?

in search for a new pump and found a "UNIVERSAL 140 PSI 255LPH" pump on ebay for all 93-97 camaros. v8 and v6. will it work or will that make it a gas hog?

This fuel pump creates positive pressure in the fuel lines, pushing the gasoline to the engine. Adds pressure to Fuel Rails to deliver Fuel for consistency and at a higher volume. A great upgrade for all turbocharged vehicles.

100% brand new
Made with CNC machined components to ensure long life
Universal in tank
255 LPH (Liters Per Hour)
140psi high pressure fuel pump supports up to 650hp
No installation included, professional installation recommended

**Universal Application for fuel injector vehicles**

That's a cheap walbro knock off. I wouldn't touch it. Call racetronix, FIC, or thunder racing etc and get a real walbro with a hotwire harness

I paid less than 100 bucks for my walbro, just get you one of them and be done. All the work it takes to drop the tank,(or trapdoor) spend the money and get a good pump. Nothing worse than having a bad fuel pump on the side of the interstate at 11:00 at night.

In addition if you get a GOOD kit you get good hose to attach to the sending unit and a new prefilter etc.

If you buy Walbro on price alone you will get cheap hose that will split a year or two down the road and no prefilter and no hotwire kit and by the time you are done resolving all the peripheral issues there you will spend more.

No to hijack but any of you guys running the dual in-tank Walbros and when would they be needed? I have a built engine and I'll be running up to a 200 shot and my car and it currently has a Walbro pump in the car already. So do I need to add the second pump?

Make sure the hose can be submersed in fuel. I got mine and put it one and then the hose busted in a very short time. I put a new hose on that was submersable and it has been in there for the past 3 years with no trouble.

Dont even mess with an intake pump (stock replacement style) if it's not a a Walbro.
The price is not that much more for quality.

Many of the other name brand pumps are Walbros they are just marketted more universal and therefore can cause some minor fitment hassles, there certainly are chinese knockoffs out there too.
