Not unless some thing is wrong with the injectors you have.

I just had to replace mine and people were telling me I would have to tune it with the ford 24lb injectors. The flow ratings between the factory GM and the Ford SVO are allegedly different???

You have to see what pressure they're rated at, our stuff is 43.5 and the older SVO red top, 30# and Green tops 42# were all at 43.5 I believe. Some of their newer stuff is rated at higher pressure.

i am
in the process of rebuilding my engine with a lt4 hot cam ported stock head and intake and a 52mm throttle body and SLP headers. Would 30lb work better than the stock 24lb?

I have pretty much same setup and went with the 32# Gen. 3 design.

Larger injectors by themselves don't do you much good. They are a supplemental modification and don't simply add power. In fact if you don't have the PCM tuned for them they can do far more harm than good.

^^^Read the thread dipshit!

Rule of thumb on injectors,
If you want it to run #24's
If you want it to run fast #30's
If you want it to run really fast #36's
If you want it to run really really fast #42's
If you want it to time travel #69's, grab Doc, charge the flux capacitor and hit 88mph
