Default Lowered suspension for track?

Ive heard a few things latly about suspension and just need to clear it up and could use some suggested parts to get what i want out of the car.

right now everything is stock 1994 120K mile suspension.

I recently put torque thrust M's on the car and hate the way it looks. I think this is because its stock ride height and its just making the wheels and tires look funny.

If anyone has a lowered trans am/firebird with the front lower then the rear and not on drag wheels/tires, could you post your spring setup and a pic of the car?

From what im reading it seems that out of all the lowering springs the strano springs do well at everything unless your making crazy power.

Eibach prokit rears, ce 3 way adj rear shocks, strange sa coil overs with 300 pound front springs. Im going to heater hose the eibachs and keep the isolators to bring it up about an inch and adjust the coil overs a bit.

Yea I run them on all 4 corners with CE 3-ways in the back. Rides so much better than on the pro kit and sits about stock height (needed to clear my true duals, so this was a must for me).

Lowered on the Pro Kit (loved the stance, but needed the clearance)

^ only if it didn't give you 4x4 status. What were your 60' before and after if you don't mind me asking.

Dont have any before numbers. Best I have on the launch springs/ce shocks is a 1.90. That is with trying to preserve the 10 bolt from explosion...

1.9 60 on a 6 speed says a little bit.

I like the look of the prokit.

Anyone running the prokit and some drag shocks? what would that do to the stance? raise the back up from the prokit level? Like eibach prokit with CE drag shocks out back, and...something else up front...

That might give me the stance im looking for, i dont like when the ground effects on the dog leg sit lower then the ones on the fender.

lowering isn't going to kill your 60' if you use a good shock and relocation brackets. Definitely don't need a 4x4 stance and special drag springs. i run BMRs in back, qa1 coilovers in front

Here are a couple cars that use BMR lowering springs and are more drag race oriented vehicles. You can have the lowered look and still get the car to hook. The Black T/A is lowered quite a bit and has cut a best 60ft of 1.33 and is super consistent.

Lotta money in those setups too haha

my car is hurt, so i like to toy with it, but i try to remember that its gonna be gone and the drivetrain is the only thing im keeping when the right time comes to buy either another fbody roller or something to swap into.

Im getting a few offers on some springs so maybe hotchkis or something and then CE shocks out back and just leave the front shocks stock.

Panhard rod and hopefully LCA's and relo brackets will get done. Im not going for any records, id just like a decent 60'

Some nice looking set-ups in this thread. My car had LG lowering springs and KYB AGX adjustable struts/shocks when I bought it. I swapped the rear springs out for some stockers just to stop dragging my exhaust all the time. Are the AGX's any good for cutting a decent 60'? Can anyone give me any recommendations on adjusting them? The dials go from 1 to 8.

Heres My SetUp. I havent ran it yet but im running sportlines.
I also have the heater hose mod in the rear but i need to figure something out to raise it alittle becuase the passenger side is super low compared to the drivers side, im hoping putting the stock isolaters back in will help..
And Some LakeWood Drag Shocks.
But Anyways:
