Default Hard to start... Extended cranking...

Fuel Pump... Was dreading it for a while... but today I got fed up with having to prime the pump 3-4 times if I wanted to start the car... For some reason or a nother the pump would never build enough pressure unless you did this, but once it was built, held there until I let it cool.

Finally did the trapdoor, and got the racetronix walboro kit out of my pile of parts and went to town... pretty straight forward install, and now it starts like a brand new car again... happy Valentines day to my LT1, you old bitch!!!

And... no pictures.

IIRC dave there is a check valve in the pump to stop it from bleeding back.......my friends GTO did that and the check valve went bad.....it would crank and crank for like 7 seconds before it built pressure enough to start.......that was probably the isssue....
