Default AC delete ??

So i deleted my heat and AC a few months back. Iv'e been trying to clean up the engine alot more now. My question is, when you delete the heat/Ac you have the two coolant lines that goto the water pump. Any idea's what i can plug or cap the water pump hole's with? It just looks stupid with one hose ran from each of the water pump outlet's. Thank's guy's.

You've got four options -

Loop the lines.
Use caps and clamps.
Pull out the fittings (they are pressed in) and weld them shut.
Pull out the fittings and tap them for NPT plugs.

freeze plugs or tap them for a pipe thread. it's either 3/8's or 1/2 two are one size and the oil cooler is another.

silicon? was it a tight fit? sounds like a liability to me, id prolly loop them or tap and plug it, but if you drive the car at all, the heat for the defrosters alone is almost needed

I popped my heater core due to an over temp situation... havent had a blower motor or heat for some time in my car and drive it like it's my job on weekends. no problems so far... but then again it's texas and the coldest it's been was the high 30's

also the freezeplugs if installed properly will be fine... ever notice the block has them as well? (although a bit bigger)

Default Ac delete

Yes I did the delete myself, I've done it three other times! I didn't remove the the dash this time, I just used a cut off tool! So where can I pick up the freez plugs or caps, any auto parts store? I did read somewhere that you cant plug the holes off cuz the coolant needs to flow. Is that true or can I plug them??

you can plug them just fine. zero issues here, and from all other accounts I have heard no ill effects.

MOST autostores should carry them, I had to find a local machine shop as advance/autozone/napa didn't know what I was talking about asking for such a small freeze plug. Car quest usually carries items like this though and I didn't feel like driving 50 miles to get it.
