Hit and run. lucky me...
so i got rear ended today and the guy even ran away from the scence after i finished spining around. i just got new tires too. ha.
so can some one tell me how bad it looks and if you think it will be worth filing with the insurance for the detuctable or just fix it my self for under $500
no airbags deployed.

Have you looked behind the bumper to see if anything else was damaged?
From this pic looks like the only thing that took damage was the bumper its self, I'd just find one the same color for well under 500 and call it a day.

Since you have a rare color I doubt you will just find a clean ready to go bumper!!!!!!!
If it was my car I would remove the cover and look at the structure,look under the car in the well area replace the reinforcement,tailpipe hanger,search the for sale section for a bumper cover have it painted then purchase new retaining push pins and call it a day..... sucks to see this happen especially knowing some sorry deuchbag is getting away with not taking responsibility for this mishap..... Lastly, I am glad you did not get injured in the process.

thanks man, im already looking for the parts but i think i found a car that is very similar to mine but im not sure. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/pts/2824112921.html i just want it to come out looking good if nothing else is wrong.
