Just picked up a set of FelPro 1406s for the install. They seem to cover the top of the port by just a bit. What kind of gaskets are you guys running? I really don't want to spend a grip on some gaskets, the 1406s have never given me an issue once they are tightened after a few heat cycles. I am just worried about them being a restriction.

Can you trim the gaskets??? Its not real hard

How they fit the head is most important, I'm sure there is no restriction there.

They'll be fine. I run 1406's with my LPP headers and the gaskets fit the head perect. If your worried about flow problems just trim the port of the gaskets a little like Warriorcustoms suggested.
