is it in the same location as the second pic from jb442? it has a small clip on it and i cant figure out what it clips to. it has a thin black hose going to it but is there something else that plugs into the prong like things on it? i can take a cell pic of where it sits in my engine bay tomorrow if that will help.

Im actually dealing with the same issue now. None of the videos Ive seen about removing the AIR system have mentioned removing this solenoid at all. i was thinking about removing it and capping off the vacuum port on the intake, but i wasn't sure. Its not plugged into anything and there isn't a plug for it anywhere i can see.

I paid $1500 to have a head gasket replaced in and a full tune up on fluids and brakes because she currently resides 4 hours away in my parents garage and I couldn't get back to do it myself.....(their goes my LE2 heads)..........you might ask why well she sat for 4 years during me getting married, starting a career, having 2 children but now she is ready to come home

Since you cut part of the roof away you should get weld-on subframe connectors if you don't already have them. Lots of t-top owners have complained in years past about a creaking chassis.
