new setup wont rev past 5k please help???
here is my problem car runs great, revs great till it hits 5000 rpm on the tach. then hits some kind of wall and the tach rpm goes to 3000 rpm and back fires! mind you this is just in the garage haven't driven yet trying to get ready for the dyno and I don’t have any way to drive till I get plates and insurance. I sent my fast xfi ecu and my msd digital 6 plus and msd hvc2 coil (blue) in for rma all 3 came back no problems. tech told me to move the coil plus and neg. at least 5 inches away from the fast harness which I did still same problem. my fast is bolted to the trans tunnel and msd is mounted on glove box door. I was running tr6 gaped to .035 so I switched to the tr7’s (BR7EF) gaped to .029 same issue the msd is limiter is set at 7500 I even tried all settings and I have the fast limited set at 9500 rpm to just make sure its out of range I'm at a loss here I need help I usually figure it out but I'm completely drained and out of options any suggestions I need fixed for the dyno I loose my deposit if I cant make it there on scheduled date my setup below btw it is turbocharged and I'm not creating any boost pressure revving so I know its not blowing spark out.

does the fast have a no load/over rev protection or fuel tables for such a low load /high RPM? grasping at straws, maybe a phone call to your tuner, maybe he ran into it before

Hey moe I do know its very rich right now I did back off the fuel and still did the same if it didnt drop to 3k I would think it was a fuel issue too its just wierd mat at fast did tell me some things im going to try today one being the temp sensor by the distributor can cause interference in the lt1s ill keep everyone posted
