I am guessing that your Impala has a stock engine. If so, your rocker studs are pressed in, so, no torque spec. applies to the studs.

Factory spec. on the rockers is zero lash plus one turn.

As this is a 1996 model the head bolts are TTY. I hope that you did not reuse them.
