Default Lt1 wont start

I was gonna leave for work the other day i put the key in turn it and everything seems to be going fine but the car would not turn on the the starter would turn the engine but no spark tried some starter fluid it and nothing they are telling me my opti spark what do you all think?

Probably the opti but maybe something else. Is the SES light on?

Do not just assume its the opti, lol

How did you check spark? Did you check it at both the plugs and coil?

checked it opti is working but it turned on for solid minute and then turn off turned it back on stayed on again back fired and then turned off tried turning it on again drained so i cleaned the throttle and accouple of things and put starter fluid and didnt want to go when i passed cable it sparked nasty on the ground now its time to find what causing that lol damn car is fighting me lol

looks really good i changed the fuel filter today just to make sure. and wouldnt it only turn on if i put starter fluid? and it didnt even turn on like that :/

Did you check the pressure at the fuel rail with a pressure gauge?

Try holding the gas to the floor when you start it. If it starts then it's probably a leaky injector

sent the battery to go get charged at the local auto part store but when i tried to use cables it would spark ugly so i might have a lose ground some where or what do you all think
