The paint and clear I bought through a friend of my brothers who's family owns a body shop. It cost me about $550, I probably had another $150 in other materials. I did all the work myself. My brother used to work for a GM body shop so he had all the tools I needed.

Couple pictures of the car with the wheels. Rained almost all day here and didn't get a chance for pictures outside.

I love the booth as well, I built one simular, but used 3 box fans for the exhaust on one end and home A/C filters on the other. I bought 3 cheap halogen work lights and mounted them inside.

I love the way you did the paint work. Removing just about every part that creates a seam. Over spraying the jams and edges to make sure you don't get peeling later. Could you tell me how many hours of prep work and paint finishing time you have into it?

AChotrod, thanks for the complements on the car and the garage! I built the garage a few years ago, it's so nice to have a large workspace all to myself. I still have some finishing touches to put on it, but it's working out great!

WS Sick, I used halogen lights also, but put them on the outside shining through the clear plastic, that way there wasn't as much of a explosion risk.

jaycenk, I had so many hours in the paint work spread out over a few months it's hard to keep track. I'm guessing I probably had 90-100 hours in the job.

Thanks again for the complements. I have to get the interior back in the car so I can get it on the road. I'll post more pictures as I go along.

Yeah, I know it needs lowered. I knew it as soon as I let it down off the jack putting the front wheels on. I have a new set of lowering springs that the guy I bought the car from gave me. I just need new shocks and an adjustable panhard bar (I think that's all I need). Trying to scrape up the funds for those now. Thanks.

Car looks amazing, good work! I've got mine torn apart right now repairing some rust, then it'll be getting the full treatment as well.

Looks great. I picked up an SOM 94 Z28 (98-02 SS Clone) a couple months back. I wish it had the LT1 front end like yours. That looks so much better than the catfish front.

Love that color and wheel combo. Car is looking good but it looks awkwardly high. Is that the stock suspension setup, it almost looks higher than stock. Once you get it lowered it will be perfect.

Thanks guys for the positive comments. The cars suspension is stock, I think the reason it looks so high is two things. On the front, I jacked up the car and put the new tires/wheels on and the suspension was hanging. When I let it down I haven't moved it for the suspension to settle back into place? If that makes any sense. The other thing is that the rear tires I had (got them for free) are 275/35/18, so for the front if I went with a 245/45/17 that would have been larger diameter than the rear, so I went with a 245/40/17. So the smaller diameter tire probably has something to do with the reason it looks higher also.

Default Finally got some more pictures...

I have about 500 or so miles on it so far. It drives really smooth and only have a few minor issues. Took it to a small car show today with a buddy of mine who has a Corvette. Here are a few pictures from the show.
