Default Changed o2s with brand new ones and still sputters a bit..

Okay, almost two months ago I put in pacesetter lt and blocked the egr off. I just put new o2s and extensions. I've checked for arcing in the wires and spark plugs. Gonna check to see if they are right once again.. I've also replaced both gaskets with mr gaskets. Ill try posting a video of how the sputtering is.. Could it be a bad opti, I'll check wires again, could a exhaust leak maybe be the problem? Or could it be I just need a tune? Every mod is listed in my sig

I chased a miss and bad running. Best thing I found was buy my own aldl USB cable and download data master. I was nervous at first but it's quite easy especially with all the help on here.

Good luck!

I talked to my auto tech instructor and he said it probably is going to need a tune. Since the egr is blocked off

You need to convert to heated o2s with the longtubes, I haven't though I just unplugged my o2s and it runs smooth and pulles hard cold and hot, no smoke no knock. It might havw something to do with my tune. Though I highly recommend you dont do what I did lol, I have no ill effects so far but ill post when I blow my engine from it leaning out.

Well I just got everything checked again by someone else and everything is good it's because I have no cat and not enough back pressure. Could a tune solve that. And by that I mean adjust to it? This will be my first time for a tune so i'm not sure

If your o2s are the single wire ones, you need to convert to the heated ones from I think the ls1 cars, there's a writeup about this somewhere. You need heated o2 sensors because with longtube headers the sensor location is too far down the pipe and not close enough to the engine to get hot enough. Its a known issue with longtube headers and unheated o2s, so its not like an "abnormality" or anything like that with your car
