Depends on the car, other mods, driver, elevation, suspension, etc.

The fastest hotcam car I've ever seen has gone high 11s but that is incredibly uncommon. Typical ETs range around the mid to high 12s.

I usually see mid to low 12s on bolt on stalled hot cam cars

I think this is right. I've been 13.4 @ 108 and 13.5 @ 106.5 DA 2200...corrects to 13.2 @ 109. All runs on street tires, 2.0x.

Update: 12.82 @ 109.42 1.87 60', da 1774, M/T ET Steet bias ply 26-10.5-16 tires.

@guppymech what other mods do you have? I run 13.30 @104mph with a 1.9 60ft with intake,header,ory,and 3.42's and a stock cam

I've got the mods in my sig with all the typical stuff, LPE cai, lt4 KM, TB bypass, no cat, exhaust c/o.

The fastest lt4 hotcam with bolt ons on street tire that i heard of was 12.2 with 4:10gears and 3600 stall

I would bet nobody with a hotcam is running those times on a plain street tire. DR yes, street tire-no.

I've got a madtuner mail tune, car runs good. Ion has a large database on the hotcam and he told me I probably wouldn't gain too much with a dyno tune. It's not wise to run a aftermarket cam without a tune.

My buddy (jankie93z) went 12.1 hotcam kit and headers rest of the motor was stock. Turbo 350 w/4k stall and stock 3:42 rear end with DR's. Car was a base no power options 93 hard top.

Car with stock tranny/converter on 17" zr1 with street tires only went 12.7 the turbo 350 w/ converter and going back to 16" wheels w/ DR's made a huge difference.

man, I went 13.3 @ 105mph with 226/232 cam, stall, bolt ons, and 2.0 60'. I was shifting at 6000-6200 though. 2600DA made it a 12.9 corrected. I guess a 1.860 would drop it to a 12.7-12.6 but christ.

where the hell are these cars hotcam cars running low 12's with a hot cam? must be in negative DA at a real sticky track or something!

the night I blew up my engine w/ a hotcam full bolt ons 9 inch rear 411 gears 17x11s zr1s 6speed mail order tune and no weight reduction I went 12.6 @113.

If you guys remember GREGG97Z he went 12.07 @115 with the hotcam and some home ported heads. Too bad he didn't get a chance to get in the 11s before he sold it.
