Default Anyone have experience with the MSD 6AL-2?

http://msdignition.com/Products/Igni...n_Control.aspx

Was just taking a look at this. 20 degrees of spark duration @ 135 mJ per spark?
Does this depend on the type of coil? Other than a boosted setup would this have any benefit for a nitrous setup? Thanx

No power gains from it but probably worth it for the revlimiter and built in 2 step. I'm still using the old analog 6AL with external 2 step. When it quits I will put in a 6AL-2. Digital circuts and 100 rpm incriments built in, draws less power and now I can only change rpm's in 200 rpm incriments via an external dial.

Youll need an MSD set up Unless you wanna roll around on a nitrous tune Ive got the old 6AL ,LT1 harness adapter, & a 3 stage retard box My old lady gets a kick outta the "retard box" LoL If you run a nitrous tune on a daily driver itll decrease fuel milage, Doubt my combo will get **** for milage. It wont add any power But some stat itll help eat Optis!!! If you go 24x then you can get the Lingenfelter box

I have heard of more issues then benefits, especially for those who use an Opti.

Off topic kind of but any experience with the stand alone MSD rev limiters? I've been contemplating getting one, I know the lt1 rev limiter actually pulls fuel and not spark which is not good but on a NA application with no nitrous would it be worth it? Am I risking anything by hitting it is what I'm asking I guess.
