Default Rebuilding a '93 M29 T-56, where do I get parts for this stupid thing?

Before anyone asks, I did post this in the Manual Trans section but I can never get an answer for anything unless it's in the LT1 section.

Well it was bound to happen.....my second gear has been making odd sounds lately but still worked okay and then I let my buddy borrow my car for literally an hour while I was gone and I know he didn't beat on it (or so i'm told), but he told me he went to grab second and it wasn't there.... it won't even engage anymore and when you do let out the clutch, you can hear it grinding so i'm guessing the teeth got sheared off of it.

So i'm gonna rebuild it myself. But of course my car being a '93 and having a million other 1 year only B.S.. I find it impossible to find any parts for this thing, especially the gears which i'm going to need.

Anybody with experience with the '93 tranny? Where can I find specific parts for it and what all is different besides the gear ratio and absence of CAGS?

Try www.thegearbox.org. They don't have everything they carry listed on their site so it's best to call them. Their prices are good and shipping is fast.

Note: DO NOT go to www.thegearbox.com., it's a gay leather fetish site (unless you're into that sort of thing).
