Default 1993 Heater Core Replacement

Where do you gain access to the heater core to replace it? The hoses were looped in the engine compartment and I dont know if the PO did that for leaking lines or a leaking Heater Core! I figure since they are cheap enough, I might as well replace it as preventative maintenance whether it needs changing or not.

I have read that you take it out through the Glove box opening and under the glove box so which one is it? I have read 5 pages of how easy it is just no procedure/instructions.

I'm sure I have seen removal instructions posted in the general tech section. There are only a few steps. Once you get in there, you will know where it comes out.

On my 93 Firebird I pulled the glove box out and put the new heater core in through that opening. It's tight and it goes in at an angle which makes that part of the install a pain. But I was able to knock it out I'm under 2 hours, if I can do it, any one can.

That is something I need to remind myself when doing the search is to not limit myself to the LT Mod forum!

Thanks
