VE table chat
What I was getting at....... when I supposedly got off topic was.
I wanted to tune SD mode so that when mentioned closed loop sensors MAF....etc, went bad that it would run just as well as closed loop with PE tables used....WOT. So that no what it would not affect the run......... or if they went bad when you were out in the middle of no where. That it would run like it should and get you home.
Alot of people just tune SD and disable MAF.....closed loop all together. How often is it that a TPS or MAP go bad?
I pretty much have closed loop pinned down. Need to lean it out a little more, gonna lean out the injector constant, or tweek the MAF map (which is what I probably will do). Think injector constant affect the SD tune also.
So I am thinking of working on the 800-2000 rpm (400-2000 VE table) and the 2000-4000 rpm band in the (2000-7000 VE table) for idle and cruise.
And once I have SD tuned to the best it can, pluggin in the MAF and setting to run closed loop, and finishing tuning the closed loop idle and cruise. I have a pretty steady 13:1 WOT a/f ratio.
My whole issue it runs rich at idle and cruise going down the road. Its so bad you can smell it in the car behind yeah going down the road.
