a little help needed
Okay gentlemen and possibly ladies. I was having issues with the car breaking up at high RPMs and when i put a load on the motor like going up hill RPMs would fluctuate. So i did some research and posted on here and came to conclusion of either Opti or coil. So i did the cheaper route and tried the coil. And boom problem fixed! Thank god it wasn't the opti.
But anyways here is my issue i was taking it all apart to replace coil and found something odd. It is like a block that has two vacuum lines going into on a side with red and black wires going into the other end and a open side that looks like a vacuum line should go into it. This block was just laying in my engine bay. Any ideas to what that is? Or where it should go Ill take pictures tom.
Also i haVe another vacuum line that went into the stock intake it has a blue elbow at the end of it. What should i do with this? Drill a hole in my new intake to recieve it? Cap it off?
Also i looked on shbox and couldnt find it
Thanks ahead of time

The hose with the blue elbow is the opti vent hose. the other end is connected to the bottom of your opti and it sucks moisture out throught the intake. if you could figure out a way to connect it to your new intake it would probably be helpful but it wont hurt to just cap it off and tuck it somewhere safe. just dont let any moisture into it while its not connected or capped. as for the box, a picture would help alot.
