no, its a 10 bolt, its made of glass. 4.10s make it weaker, smaller teeth, easier to break. Be easy on it and replace it with a 9", 12 bolt or S60 asap.

Someone was an epic retard to waste money on buying a truetrac for a 10 bolt, and if they even make one. He's probably just talking g about the factory Auburn style limited slip

Tru tracs are good units. A friends has one in his 800+hp stang and never had an issue. The main thing is NOT to run any type of synthetic fluid or additive, They take straight dino oil 75/90.

I know most guys who run them, locally, run SCCA / SOLO 2.

On the other hand, I agree with gjohnsonws6. It's a grenade with a hangfire.

it all depends on your setup. if you are just bolt ons and pretty light and an auto it will last a long time. if you are putting any significant power to the ground and are an M6 you might run into some trouble.

I made many 1.6-1.7 60's with my ten bolt and 3.90 gears. If you pre load or stall it up some before you launch and not sock the drivetrain it may live a while.

Hey Cam95Maro I have an S60 in my car with 3.73's and I don't have any gear noise, I love mine, I guess it all depends on who setup the gears.

To try & make a 10bolt bullet proof IS WASTING Money!!! Youll spend just as much buyin all the best parts & still break it!!! Buy a 12 bolt or S60 depending upon your power level A 10bolt is a 7.5./7.6 rear made for STOCK horsepower Levels & not much more lol just the way it is!!!

Havent looked into a 12bolt but The S60 is a bolt in Im usin a 4L80E so Ive gotta buy a few more parts lol But if you want the best the S60 is it Theyre around 2900ish plus shipping If I remember right Still gotta finish buyin other parts before I get to that point Just buy a complete unit whatever you do Search the net for a deal!!! I think theres even a 12 bolt on here in parts Unless its sold Theres better deals if you keep your eyes & ears open As far as a factory torque are theres a thread on here about fryin one of those at a lil over 400 hp to the wheels It takes money to be fast How fast you wanna be = how much money you wanna spend!!!!!!!

The S60 is stronger and less $ than the 12-bolt.
Central Racing Parts is running a special on the S60 as well! Call or PM for pricing and more information on the S60.

Thanks,
Carl
