I case you didn't know all GM optis are now REMANs. Get a NEW Delphi opti instead.

I got a new Delphi from Amazon for $248. I pulled off the cap and rotor when I got it to make sure it had the Mitsu sensor.

Aren't AC Delco and Delphi opti's made by the same people?

Has is it been confirmed that all AC Delco opti's are now remanufactured? I sent an email to a dealer contact a few weeks ago, but never heard back from him. I do know they started adding a core charge a few years ago.

I looked under the GM part number for a spline drive opti at many web sites, dealer and otherwise, all said the GM opti was a reman. How a ACDelco opti is a reman and Delphi is not I don't know since as far as I know Delphi makes them for GM. Delpi's web site doesn't say anything about them being remanufactured.

I guess I should have bought a spare one. Price has gone up since I bought mine they're $350 now .
