Default Question

I am getting a ported and polish intake do the heads also need to be ported and polish?

And would it help if I gets bigger throttle body with it also

And does the computer need to be tune for the ported intake?

I have a 96 Trans am with a comp cam 503 and flowmaster exhaust

would be a waste of money to get a ported intake without having ported heads....

No you do not need a tune unless you also install a cam. Heads/intake will not influence valve timing/spark and the PCM will be able cope with the higher demand of fuel.

Except: If he's running an A4, he needs to adjust the line pressure vs TPS tables for the bigger TB.

Not initially, but probably would not be a bad idea to get it on a dyno and have it tuned to see if there is anything more left on the table. What injectors are you running? What cam?
