Default newbie thottle body ?

whats better a 58mm throttle body or a monoblade throttle body.

its a light built 355, le2 head and cam, 3200stall, 3.90gears, longtube headers.

The monoblade defeats the IAC distribution compromising idle and fouling rear plugs. In no way worth the hassle unless you have at least a solid roller stroker and even then probably not worthwhile till reving past what the computer can handle

When I bought my TPIS He wouldnt even sell me a Mono & Im buildin a 396 solid roller with ported Dart Pro 1 heads Ect..... An LE2 355 get a TPIS 52mm throttle body Theres calculators for Carb/CFM requirements That take Cubic inches ,RPM & stuff into acct when figurin all that out A 355 @ 7000rpm needs 881 & a 52mm TPIS flows 920cfm The 58mm flows right at 1100cfm SO its Overkill!!!!!

He told you to spend at least $100 more than you have to just for a TPIS top plate. If you are going 52mm no need to spent the $280 TPIS charges not to mention their $300 core fee.

If you want a fast car OR have a budget avaoid TPIS, mostly they cost a LOT and perform mediocre.

LoL TPIS & ASM are the best 2 My new billet 58mm was like 399 + shipping NOT a bored factory pc LoL Get the black TPIS & youll be FINE IT comes with the IAC housing Unlike most others!!!! Search & see what ones people have the least issues with!!! TPIS & ASM bet on that
