Default Fitting headers

I have been on the look out for some cheap headers for my 93 z28, I have seen a couple of adds were some of the sellers say that they are for a 93-95 and then some sellers say they have a pair that fits 96-97. What changed in 96 and 97 I was thinking maybe the clearance for the steering?

Also I would assume long tubes are routed under the steering?

If anyone has had any experience with this some info would be greatly appreciated

Not sure on the year difference.

The steering shaft is outside of the header (if that makes sense) its between the header and the shock tower.

Iirc the steering shaft is the same.

OBDI cars do not have post-cat sensors, just one sensor per bank, pre-cat.

The difference is 96-97 cars had dual cats. 93-95 were single cats. The fitment is all the same though and unless you need the cats in your state, it doesn't matter.

Ok cool I dident think of the obd2s having two cats...I. dident see another thread asking this so maybe it will help someone out in the future.... my car has 2 o2s before the cat one on each side before the Y pipe... I don't know if the obd2 would have a y pipe but if they did they wouldent have 2 sensors after the cats would they unless it when from 2 cats to a y pipe... not trying to be a pain just trying to understand
