Need a tachometer/shift light. Just saw a guy in a lowered TA in St. James with a HUGE one on his dash but that's a bit overkill. Maybe one to replace on of the center vents? What do you guys recommend?

Would one of these fit in the circular vents? Maybe a pillarpod?

I have used that tach before, had to send it back for a refund. It had electrical issues. Not saying its a bad tach, just mine had problems. I now run the MSD tach, and i love it.

I have a Autometer 5340 pill style shift light mounted to the steering column. It lines up directly in line with the center of the tach and doesn't block anything (well except for the left turn signal blinker). Shift lights work Fantastic, one of the best additions to the car. The only thing I use the stock tach for lower rpms. Check out this thread for more info and how I wired mine up.https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...estions-2.html

If shifting under 7K why not use the stock tach and a shift light? Even though the tach may not be spot on the shift light will.
