i was just comparing my time slip to another lt1 with a similar time. i was 13.07 at 101 mph. he was 12.98 at 108mph
my 1/8 was 8.3 at 85 mph he was 8.4 at 85.5 mph.
how can i get more top end speed? btw he wasn't spraying

Weight reduction, different gears, different cam, there's a bunch of different stuff. If they were identical cars, I'd say you short shifted or something like that.

what did the complete time slips look like? with what little info you have given i would guess his 60ft and 330 would be slower or equal to yours but from that point on he would be pulling away.

Something sure seem up with your mph gained past 1/8, 16 mph isn't much. Most people gain 20 mph minimum. My 1/8 is 84 and I gain 23 out the back. You're loosing mph somewhere.

ill post timeslips. cars were not identical but i felt i shouldve gained more mph. my car is automatic with stock 323 gears

my drivers side rear tire was low on air as well. i didn't realize this until leaving that night. i had 28psi in the passengers and only about 17 drivers side. they were street tires

Ok but what RPM is it shifting at? Stock shift points still would be one reason for the low mph.

Ever had it on a dyno or know where it peaks?

I'm not really sure where it was shifting at but shift points are stock I havn't had it dynotuned yet

Sounds like it is pulling alot of timing on the top end killing horsepower. Being a boosted car run some av gas 100+ and see if your trap speed goes up. Still 108mph on 6psi seems awful low. Both cars should be trapping 110+, what was the track DA?

im not really sure how to find out da. ik it was about 60 degrees and sunny and the track is 900 ft above sealevel

Supercharger and Shorty headers does not work for me. If an NA Lt1 picks up with longtubes you will definitely gain in the BIG END having 6psi and a way to get the exhaust out.
