Default I dont understand how to remove the knock sensors.

I see the connector but I don't understand how to remove it or the sensor to drain the cooling system. Also what is the best way to flush the system with water just run a hose to where the radiator cap goes while the car is running?

to remove the knock sensor use a good pair of needle nose pliers (carefully) on the sides. it is a squeeze type connector on them. squeeze and pull.

Its an oval connector, so squeeze on the widest part of connector. if that helps

Awesome thanks man I figured it was like that but I wanted to ask first, didn't wanna risk breaking them. And the bolt looks like a 7/8. Just unscrew that and we should be good correct?

Why are you taking out the knock sensors to drain the cooling system?

This is LS1 tech, not LT1 tech....no ne knows what kind of car or engine you have if you don't tell them. Stop posting your LT1 questions in this section. This is the second time I have had to move your post to the correct section. Next time there will be consequences.

Via police bullhorn: "Casey, please put down the tools, slowly step away from the car and call a tow truck to take it to mechanic and the car won't get hurt!!!!"
