Default Yes another exhaust debate

Looking at catbacks, Ive been over youtube, used the search function on tech and am still unable to decide. But here's the points the exhaust has to hit and what are my questions and concerns. I have a stock 94 trans am m6 with a magnaflow cat, i drive it every day. The car will be stock manifolds and stock y pipe, keeping things emissions legal. I live in south jersey so it does snow a few times a year, so stainless may be better for me, perhaps it doesn't matter.

Must be under 500
Must have quad tips or the ability to change tips for under 500
No rasp

Here are my choices

TSP Rumbler- cheap, can order quad tips, sounds good, only problem is its not stainless, and i have seen maybe 1 or 2 raspy exhaust vids that worry me.

MAC catback- not as cheap as TSP, will need tips as well, very few videos, 18-25hp advertized gains, problem is not stainless and lack of vids.

SLP LM2- expensive, will need tips, some videos sound good, problems would be price and being too loud, alot of people get rid of these because of loudness. Stainless is a plus.

Magnaflow- not as cheap as TSP, needs tips, possible alignment issues, too quiet? Its a plus that its stainless.

Right now im leaning toward TSP, but only yesterday i was stuck on MAC, and last week i was on LM2, and before that it was magnaflow. So yeah im open to suggestions.

You have a '94 it has a single cat under the floorpan so you can instal Shorty headers or even mid tubes without disturbing the emissions system.
I have true duals Xpipe with 1 chamber flows..... sounds great!!!! I also like the sound of the magnaflow cat-back especially with a QTP cut out but don't sell yourself short HEADERS MAKE THE MOST DIFFERENCE..... SLPS,MAC,HOOKER HEADERS

First- Semper Fi devil dog. Hoorah!

Magnaflow all the way. It is quiet on at idle and cruise, which is great for a DD. However, when you go WOT its LOUD. I absolutely loved this exhaust with my longtubes and ORY. I see you are going to keep manifolds and cat, Im still positive that you would love this catback.

alot of votes for magnaflow, its not that headers would keep the car from passing emissions, its just im waiting on my old car to sell and would rather keep things simple until it does go so i have money for repairs (the car has 150k). 450 bucks is alot to spend then another 140 or so on 4in corsa clones (i cannot stand the truck tips, had 3in 6in long ones on my 87 monte ss and they fit the car well, but not for the trans am. I think i can knock off the lm2 from the list though.

Magnaflow, mine and my sisters car have it. Hers is stock manifolds and it sounds great and gets pretty loud under heavy throttle. Mine has LT's and ORY. Its a beast.

mufflex isnt too far from me but i dont like the idea of 600 dollars for a single dump, im sure they might be able to fabricate whatever i wanted though, gmmg is still really stretching my price range, at around 750. Really leaning towards TSP just because its 250 for the exhaust 140 for tips so realistically i can get away under 500. I spend tons on money into my last car and when i got the trans am it was a 2000 dollar junker that didn't run, just seems weird to me throwing a 1000 dollar exhaust on a car that needs paint in some areas and has all this mileage.

My 4in mufflex is a 4in single in the dual 3in out with a race muffler If Hot Rodding made any sense we would all just save our money Lmao We do this because we love cars & goin Fast So the money you saved on buyin a car with a blown motor or trans just lets us build it the way we wanted one Like my 900 dollar 95 T/A Its gettin completely stripped to nothin Then painted Kandy Red with LSx Speedlines & honeycomb tail lights The drivetrain will be a nitrous eatin 396 LTx with ported Dart heads , a stalled 4L80E & S60 Doesnt make any sense but Damn I will have one Fast & Sexxy Ram Air T/A!!!!

A few of my past cars had it and i loved it!! SLP TOTL! Its rare, stainless and at one time was considered one of the best flowing exhuasts on the market

I also ran Maganflow and Spintech on my LS1 and loved both. Also loved the Corsa i had but cant justify $1000 on catback anymore lol.

yeah id run the 2OTL if it was a camaro and had no cutouts for the bumper, it just needs duals, quads in particular. warrior, i spent over 12000 on my 87 monte SS, new paint, suspension, wheels, motor, and just overall restoring it, probably wont even get half of what i put into it. And the monte build had budget written all over it just didn't feel like it.
