Default granatelli fuel pump

so my fuel pump died friday, so im shopping for a aftermarket one. i know walbro is usually the 1st off the shelf, but i saw one made by granatelli for about the same price and was just curious if there was if there was any differences in reliability between the 2. i can pick one up for a bit cheaper than a walbro (money is tight at the moment so im looking for value) but id hate to buy it and find out its a shitty product and have to replace it again in the near future.

just looking for thoughts on it, stock is out of the question, ill be building a new motor or swapping in the spring probably so im not looking to do this again if i dont have to

Found your answer that they are the same pump? Likely the supporting pieces vary substantially depending what brand name is on the box. I always suggest Racetronix, yeah it cost more but new flex tube, new filter sock, wiring upgrades, once it is all considered it is a good buy, again still the Walbro pump.

If the cash isn't there to do it really well there would be nothing wrong with using a new stocker for awhile, some guys find a good condition stock pump to be capable of feeding heavily modified engines. The reason most guys switch to Walbro is because the stocker was OLD and not as effective as it once was.

They all use walbro's. Aeromotive is the only other one I have come across to fit into the bucket.

Whatever pump you chose, make sure to use the fuel pump bucket. If you don't you are guaranteed the pump dying a premature death.

I have used both the Granatelli and the Racetronix (several of each in various F bodies) and the Racetronix comes with much better parts as 96capricemgr said.
