Custom 2.9 Whipple starts and dies
Guys I am trying to diagnose a problem I have with my new setup. Built a custom whipple 2.9 setup for my LT1 engine. Prior I had a D1SC procharger which ran great, but decided to go a different route. The only thing I changed was built the whipple base/inlet and changed to a smaller 214/218 118lsa cam from my old 224/230 112lsa.
If anyone of you have hp tuners you can look at my logs here on hp tuners

I have covered everything I believe, just ready to enjoy this car.
Please if anyone has any suggestions of info, let me know

When it starts for a second does it run clean, or backfire and sputter?
Have you pulled the plugs to look at all of them? It seems you have fuel at the regulator since it shows fuel pressure, but check the plugs after cranking to make sure its getting past the injectors.
Are you sure sprak is strong? I would hold a plug to ground to check for spark a spark as someone else cranks it.

Puck its about 50/50 on the clean start, sometimes its clean and dies and other times it sputters. I have my computer with me in the shop as we speak, just pulled the front passenger plug, WET AS HELL, going to yank them all out.
I am looking at spark on the scanner, everything looks good there.

Ok working on getting pics as we speak
Pulled all 8, all really wet from fuel.
Just thought of something, since I am running the 24x kit, I did happen to organize the wiring for the coils (for a cleaner look) Its possible I either swaped banks or have them on backwards (checking that now)

Did you modify the tune any? Are the bank assignments still swapped for lt1 firing order?
If there is spark and fuel it sounds like the tune or crossed wires, unless something like the cps decided to go bad. Just because its sparking doesn't mean its sparking at the right time.
Do you have a stock bin to swap your fuel and injector tables to just to make sure the tune isn't corrupted?

I tried the tune for the procharger setup as well, still does the same thing.
The bank assignments have been changed to work with the SBC/LT1 engine.
I have a HP tuners log of the Cam and Crankshaft sensors populating with data from several fires.
Weird thing is there is no DTC's either, if one of these sensors was off I would think I would get a DTC?

Hey Rob, going to put in a new set in the morn, may hit the cylinders with some compressed air and squirt a few drops of oil into the cylinders too. They were saturated with fuel, so both my Speed density and MAF tune I pulled a ton of fuel out in the startup and idle ranges. Hopefully its just an excessive fuel problem causing it to die?
