Cold weather starting issue...opti or fuel pump or?
so the last few days i was in daytona and it got kind of cold overnight (40ish) and there was a lot of moisture in the air on the car in the morning. my car spends its life in a garage so this rarely happens at home but i went to start it a few mornings and it would start, run for a second and die. i went to restart it and a few times it did the same thing and or would start and run but had a bad missfire. if i revved the motor it would actually backfire. then i'd just shut it down and restart it and it'd be fine. it would stay fine unless i didn't drive it long enough to warm up and stopped somewhere and shut it off and it would do the same thing, but once it warmed up it was fine. once i think i left the key on for several seconds before starting it and that time it was ok but that may have been a fluke as it wasn't as cold that particular morning.
