Default Anyone know what happened to monodax?

Monodax's site has been down for a couple weeks now. Not that I frequent the site much but it sure is a big help every once in a while.

Anyone know if it'll ever be back?

And if not, anyone now where to grab up stock .cal files for TunerCATS OBDII? I used to use monodax as a good starting point for PCM swaps, injector offsets, and other various calibration parameters and now I'm not sure where to go.

Thanks guys!

Ouch man, I'm sorry to hear that. I was never a customer of theirs, only a member of the forum.

Yeah they were supposed to support the Tunecats package but it never seemed to come through the way it was supposed to. Sad they had some thing and the timing was right. I think the last update was 4-6 years ago

I got my TunerCATS OBDII second hand and have never had an issue with it. It's amazing how much better it is than JET DST seeing as how they began life as the same product. I had always used DST before my switch and I couldn't be happier now.

Now if I could just find a decent .cal file repository

Do I just need to make the jump to EFILive and forget about Monodax and TunerCATS?

I know there are plenty of EFILive tune repositories and within the next year I will need the CustomOS abilities for my 2 bar SD tune anyway, hmm...

I go there to share OBD1 files - can't let any forum that supports these old ECM's fade away..I can't afford an aftermarket swap.

Tunercats is a good suite, I have both the OBD-I and OBD-II and never had any problem with them.
Support is still being given by the author of the program.
There is no real need for a tune repository, just ask in the forums and somebody can give you a stock tune.

I also have Jet-Dst and it really is a piece of ****, no support, no answer to emails.

I would LOVE a 2 BAR OS from Tunercats for $EE def file - bet many guys would.

I'll email TC directly, see what they say.

You can fake one, with a 2 bar sensor and scaling tables, I have done it but it's a PITA.
I have heard some big tuners have a working 2 BAR OS, but haven't found one yet
