LTs and a Hooker catback.... still be quiet?
I've talked my dad into letting me mess with his 95 but he doesn't want anything loud at all. I know with LTs and the hooker on my LS1 it was still quiet even with heads/cam. On a LT1 car it should be the same correct?

Lsx and Ltx have there own distincts sounds. When I had my hooker catback and longtubes on my LT1 it was pretty tame until you open it up. It was just right at cruising speed and there was no raspiness. Although some think hooker catbacks are to quiet I think there sound is just right. I hate my dynomax bullets with true duals for cruising (way to much drone),but its just a matter of opinion.Oh by the way there is a few sound clips on youtube that directly compare ls1 and lt1 hooker catback.

For the time being it'll just have the catback but I plan on going catless with longtubes. As long as it'll be quiet with longtubes and no cats we're good. With dad the quieter the better.

^Damn that is a sexytransam HAHA!I watched that video numerous times. I am ditching my true dual setup for another hooker LOL...But just so the OP is aware some hooker catback owners have had trouble with rattling in the muffler. I had this happen to my last setup and it only had around 10k. But I loved it's sound so much I have another being shipped as we speak. Good luck either way.
