AI 200cc or LE2 for a 355 lt1
hey guys i got a lt1 from a local guy for a 150 bucks, it need rebuilt and i figured i could play with the bolt on car this summer, try and put together a nice head's and cam 355 while i do that, nothing crazy but nice. So im not trying to start an battle between the two, im just curious what kind of number's guys have seen with AI 200cc head's, and one of there hotter cam's, and what have guys got from LE2's and one of there custom cam's. just looking for opinions on both, and down sides and upsides to both...if there is any down sides thanks guys

after doing some more research around 400whp seems to be the norm, and low 11's with good suspension, gear, and converter seem's to be the norm. so any difference in quality maybe would be a better question.

I'm running AI's 200cc ported LT1 heads and a 228 duration cam from them on a rebuilt stock bottom. You can see the 1/4 mile numbers below. Keep in mind the car is about 500 lbs heavier than the fast F-bodies.
On the dyno, it was 425 SAE @ 6400 rpm with small Tri-Y headers and a locked converter. Recently, it dyno'd 420 SAE @ 6400 with 1-3/4" LT's and a non-lockup 8" converter.
No downsides whatsoever in the AI setup for me. I got a well-engineered top end setup worth the money.
