Default Need help with fan wiring

Having problems getting fans to work after 24x conversion.. I have a painless harness...and I want to run a 2 relay set up.
So the wires for fan 1 and 2 from the PCM put out a ground signal and I'm getting that signal when the temp reaches..now that should switch my relay but it doesn't...for some reason I cannot use that wire as a ground I even tried using it for another accessory and it won't work as a ground...I don't understand it's groundin out but won't ground the relay to turn fans on...extremely frustrating...

If wired correctly, it should work. It does not take much to operate a relay. There are no real details here on what exactly you are working on...

What is happening is the wires from the PCM are receiving its signal and are grounded by the PCM...when I put the PCM wires to the relay...nothing it doesn't ground the relay...it's like it's not a good ground and I'm very confused

Are you sure you have all the computer's reference grounds hooked up?

What is grounded to the PCM is red 2, red 18, clear 32, and blue 1 which are my pcm grounds..any other ground that was left over was not needed for the swap

Does the coolant temp sensor on the water pump have any part in the grounding process? Also I have a mechanical water gauge but the PCM doesn't get any info from that correct?

I would not think the coolant sensor has a part in it. The normal LT1 PCM does not receive anything from the gauge sensor. But you are using an LS1 PCM because of the 24x swap, correct? The connectors and ground locations are different.
