I don't buy anything from Autozone with wires connecting to it.
BUt don't just run out and buy another Opti. You may need to have it diagnosed if you aren't capable of doing it yourself. Somebody sharp with a Tech2 could tell you if it is indeed the Optic if they could see it a act up with the Tech2 logging when it acts up.

I bought my car with a MSD (was changed like 6000 miles before). 2 Days after having the car it died. I replaced it with a AC Delco, its been 2 years and fine, this season will be the 3rd year running on it.

Does anyone have success stories running msd? I would never buy it just from my readings but my car came with one installed as well

OP there's a thead a page or two back about eBay Opti and they seem to be built well. No real world experience reviews yet I'm aware of.

+2 on the chandler heard tons of great hings, bought one and **** was just wackyyy, went to autozone to get one for a quick fix and was short on money, that **** was the same as the chandler, running one from oriellys right now but who even knows if thats working right as i have my own car woes right now, also get the icm tested could be overheating and failing.
