Default LT1 Tuning

I am sending my ECU to Solomon (LT1 Tuning) today and wanted to make sure I made the right choices....

What is everyone's input on the "correct" fan temps for a bolt-on engine, stock T-stat (180*) and has anyone seen any ill effects from using the "Moderate" lean option for open/closed loop he offers?

I selected 200* low and 210* high and moderate on both open and closed loop.

Also, I chose not to delete the Evap Purge function currently, should I just have it deleted? Im only worried about the gas fumes in my garage since the car sits more than it is driven.

Any input/advise would be appreciated, this is my first time getting a mail order tune (I am just used to Hypertech, etc tuners)

Mods, please move this to the tuning section, I did not realize there was a section for this!

I've had my gas tank lay in the garage not hooked up for a few weeks now with least 1/8th of gas in it. I don't think you have to worry about the fumes.

I have the exact tune you are getting from Solomon. I just let him decide what temp to turn it on. My Trans am runs better than it has in a long time with his tune. I had it tuned once before and wasnt to happy, but Solomon does a GREAT job! No worries.

Fox Slaughter,

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I am going to retain my charcoal canister for now as well, so that should eliminate the issue anyway.

TexasTarnation,

Cool, thats really good to hear, I will message him about the fans then.

jrwilliams95z28,

I would love to learn how to tune myself someday, but I dont have the time, equipment or trust to do it myself at this point.
