Default No Fuel Pressure Gas Gauge Reads Funny

I put in a Racetronix 255 kit.
I ran AN lines from the sending unit to the rail.
Put the key in and let it prime like 6 times.
Checked fuel pressure gauge... Nothing.
Tried about 6 more times, nothing.

My gas gauge is pegged past full.
When I took the tank out I had around 1/8th of tank. It sat open to the air for a couple weeks. So I'm sure some evaporated. There was some fuel left when I put it back in.

Now no fuel shouldn't read pegged past full I would assume.
I don't want to put fuel in if I might possibly have to remove the tank again.

I broke a terminal off so I had to find the terminal and crimp a new one on. Which shorten the wire. The wire was pretty tight when assembly wasn't bent. Is it possible a wire came off?

I mean I can hear the pump priming and the more I primed it the louder it got by the driverside wheel, which is where my AN Lines are running up.

Bad ground?

Well pulled the pump. Figured out why the gas gauge was messed up. I hooked the ground up on the wrong one.

Now going to see if she will give me pressure at the rail.

A gauge that reads constantly full indicated an open circuit, i.e., the wiring to the float assembly is unplugged or broken somewhere in the line. Might be the terminal you had to fix but you won't know until you get in there.

If the pump is running but you have no pressure chances are the tube that connects the discharge of the pump to the top plate either fell off or has a hole in it.

Shame you didn't cut the hole for the fuel pump in the rear hatch area. Now you've got to drop the tank all over again. Tisk tisk.

The trap door was done. Haha

Thats how I just got the pump out in 15 mins and back in.
The clear tube was full of fuel.
The AN line had fuel in it.
I hooked the black wire to the wrong side of the float.
Now the gauge reads.
Just primed it like 6 more times. Still no pressure.

I never solder/melted the bucket back together, I only used the supplied glue.
I don't think it should be sucking air because the intake for the pump is at the bottom of the bucket?

I'm going to run to the gas station pick up 2 gallons and dump it in and see what happens.

Ram I know you support the trap door, only reason I dropped the tank was cause my rear end is out right now haha. Luckily though my car has the trap door done before.

Solved.

The cold must be getting to me. I didn't have the gauge on right.

Got over 40psi.
Battery is on charger.
Gonna try to fire this up.
