Default Stall Wall

Ok so I went from a 3500 stall to a 4000 stall and hit Stall Wall. The car was tuned for the 3500. Someone told me that the tail shaft flexes on the tranny and cause this. If I relocate the torque arm OFF the tranny would this fix the Stall Wall problem?

No, that will not fix the problem. Only retuning shift points will.

Gotcha.. I don't know much about this issue. So if my stall is 4000 I have to get the VSS set to 4000?

With just a 3500 you might get by with just screwing with the WOT shift MPH. Depends on how much your converter slips. Converters aren't all created equal.
I hacked the OS a few years ago. My 4500 converter didn't even needs the WOT shift MPH screwed with after that. Have seen a few that still needed the shift points screwed with too. Those were so loose neither "fix" would work alone.
