Bad coil?

anyone? Im having a miss, i have brand new plugs wires cap and rotor. it idles fine and fine at steady speeds just when i hit the throttle it stumbles and when im taking off its a lil rough. and some times when i ease the throttle its fine..

Do you have any symptoms to report? I am assuming you mean 10,500 ohms (you were probably on the k[1000] scale). That may be on the high side of normal.

i had the coil off the car and hooked up my multimeter on the post and went thru each hole like ur website says and u said to look for 8.5 i got 10.50. yea i had the setting to 0-10k ohm

well if its a lower rpm misfire its the ignition side... only thing left is icm( which im told when it fails, it fails, resulting in heating up and shutting the car off) and the acual optical sensor in the optispark, which would require full replacement. Check your fuel pressure also on acceleration could be a possible problem there, never know.

i will have to look at fuel pressure while driving but im pretty sure thats not it. im still wondering about the numbers i have on each post on the coil. Is 10.50 k ohms to much when its cold??
