some people claim they've gotte like .1 in the quarter mile, or a couple rear wheel horsepower. I personally want to do this for a cleaner looking engine bay and easier to clean, replace filter.

id like to do it with the base and everything though, just so it looks real clean, but i'm not trying to modify the car any or even buy a hood i don't like just to fit it, i like the harwood so i believe that what im just going to get once taxes come in but if the lid fits i might do that as well, if not i'll wait it out for another day

where did you get the carbon fiber rad support, or is it a stock one that is wrapped, probably putting this as well as abs delete on my summer mod list so i was just curious, also would a v6 upper rad support work, they look the same just the lid seems to be different on those

Its just a wrapped stocker. I dont think the v6 will work because it has a slight offset to it. I actually have a spare for sale thats already wrapped. Only problem is it has a crack in where the drivers side clip is.. i fixed it with some epoxy but it may or may not hold

I did mine a few days ago I felt better throttle response and it also feels like the car is lighter in the low end it's definitely a good great mod and I was able to use use my stock hood without cutting it
