Default fuel pressure problem

so i hold 44psi at idle and it spikes up to 47-48 if i rev the motor but when i just prime the car it slowly leaks down, like 1 psi per minute. Is this causeing my 8 mpg and my dtc 18?

Nothing wrong with your fuel pressure.

Have you started diagnosing your fuel injectors? Have you checked the two injector fuses?

If you have a stethoscope, listen to the suspect injector at idle, if it "ticks" then the injector is working. If it does not "tick" then it could be a stuck injector or a wiring issue.

Use an unpowered test lamp on the two pin injector connector while idling - if you see your test light illuminate, then the issue is at the injector and not in the wiring. If it does not illuminate, then you have a wiring issue.

Good luck!
