Default Manual fan switch, fans not working

So I bought the SLP manual fan switch for my 95 T/A, tried the switch and the fan relay worked but the fans didn't (It sounded like the fan motor was trying to turn but couldn't). After trying the switch a couple times the fan turned on for about 5 sec on high. Then I switched it to low and the fans stopped and didn't come back on. Anybody have any ideas on what could be the problem? I am not the best with wiring and electrical on cars so I dont know where to start??

Make sure all the connections are solid. Make sure your ground is good, connectors aren't damaged, etc sometimes its easy to miss something.

Already tried that. All connections are solid, and ground is good too. I also took fans off and connected them straight to battery with jumper wires and the fan worked, sounded like it was struggling a little bit but worked. Maybe the wires going to the fan are corroded on the inside or something?

Try to take off slp manual fan switch, and warm the car to operating temp. Do the fans start? Try to check the wires inside the fans, maybe they are really corroded.

Is your PCM tuned or modified at all?

Is your water temp gauge working?

Is your water temp switch (on water pump) plugged in with no issues?

If you say fans are "struggling", then one of them might have a bad motor if you say you took them off and directly applied power and ground with the same result.

Pcm was not tuned, but it is getting tuned right now so I cant do anything till it gets back. Gauge is working and sensor is new and connected.
