Default What to do with cooling fan on 12 rib Procharger

What is the best cure for the D/S fan with a 12 rib setup? Can I get a slimmer fan for the D/S, just run one fan or what?

Trim it....alot. Your going to have to cut alot of the webbing from the fan to make it work but it will work.

I didn't get a chance to spend much time on it last night before I went in, but it looked to me like the fan motor itself hits the pulley as well.

You are probably gonna need to stand your radiator up im guessing. I had to with a 8rib setup only because i used a thicker griffin radiator, a small amount of fabrication involved to get my 4" from my FMIC to my TB.

Or i have seen guys in the FI section talk abt going to a 18" single pusher fan, u could try a pusher/puller on the opposite side of your SC.

The kit should hvae come with spacers to space the fan. I have the stock setup on my car with a cog drive set up and there is plenty of room.

I got it taken care of. I made a piece of angled steel that fit between the radiator bracket and the fan bracket that pulled it 1/4-1/2 inch closer to the radiator. This got me the clearance I needed.

As mentioned, kit should come with spacers to bring the fan motor away from the pulley. The shroud will need considerable trimming. Stock fans and rad here with no problems.
